Sue has received her 9th nomination in as many years for a Maxwell Award in the 2009 DWAA Writing Competition. This is her third nomination in the Best Newspaper Column category for "Pets & Their People" (Inside Publications).

Sue is featured in the Nov. 2007 "Best of Sacramento" issue of Sacramento Magazine!

Seven Up! 2006 DWAA Maxwell Nominee in the following categories: Best Newspaper Column for Pets & Their People (Inside Publications) and Best Fiction Book for Sirius About Murder (Five Star). That's seven nominations since 2001, but Siriusly, who's counting?
